Your California rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. Under these laws, showing you ads based on data collected across sites can count as sharing. We do not sell your personal information for money.
How we handle your choice
When we turn on advertising and analytics, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information in two ways:
- Global Privacy Control. We honor the GPC browser signal. If your browser or an extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt out automatically, with no further action from you.
- Consent dialog. Where a consent dialog is shown, decline advertising and analytics, or change your choice at any time from that dialog.
Today the Site does not run advertising or analytics, so there is nothing to sell or share yet. This page explains the choice you will have once those features are enabled.
Submit a request
You can also send a request by email to hallo@oneperfectdayblog.net with the subject "Privacy request". We will verify and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
Residents of other states
Several other United States state laws provide similar opt out rights for targeted advertising and the sale of personal information. If your state grants these rights, you may use the same methods above. We honor valid opt out preference signals such as GPC.
